About the Movie

"The Time Traveler's Wife" is based on the best-selling book about a love that transcends time. Clare (Rachel McAdams) has been in love with Henry (Eric Bana) her entire life. She believes they are destined to be together, even though she never knows when they will be separated: Henry is a time traveler--cursed with a rare genetic anomaly that causes him to live his life on a shifting timeline, skipping back and forth through the years with no control. Despite the fact that Henry's travels force them apart with no warning, and never knowing when they will be reunited, Clare desperately tries to build a life with her one true love.

Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: Yet where there should be heat, a cold wind blows. – Betsy Sharkey, Los Angeles Times, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: The emotions and crises feel pre-sanded, smooth to the point of blandness. The transitional disappearances are routine. – Michael Phillips, Chicago Tribune, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: It's hard to live in stolen moments, but trying to find a few enjoyable ones in The Time Traveler's Wife is nearly impossible. – Joe Neumaier, New York Daily News, Jun 24, 2010

Fresh: While the script could have done more to exploit Bana's sense of humour, it does profit from his directness. There are no false heroics. – Sandra Hall, Sydney Morning Herald, Jun 24, 2010

This movie was flat-out fantastic. I loved Rachel McAdams role as a confused but madly in love woman struggling through her emotions and a marriage with a man who can't promise to always be there. It's heart-warming and heart-wrenching with parts that give you shivers of joy and parts where you bawl your eyes out but that's the beauty of it; it portrays life in a twisted, more fictional way. Bravo to the writer of this book and the person who produced it.

A heart warming movie!!!

This movie was amazing. Most movies that are based on a book are never that good but this movie was different. There was also great chemistry with Rachel Mcadams and Eric Bana. I would recommand this movie!

Awesome acting

Of course it won't be like the book, but you will find Rachel McAdams and Eric Bana to be a charming couple. Their chemistry is amazing to the point of making you cry. Trust me, if you decide to watch this movie keep your Kleenex box close ;-)
