About the Movie

After jaunts through northern England and Italy, Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon embark on another deliciously deadpan culinary road trip. This time around, the guys head to Spain to sample the best of the country's gastronomic offerings in between rounds of their hilariously off-the-cuff banter. Over plates of pintxos and paella, the pair exchange barbs and their patented celebrity impressions, as well as more serious reflections on what it means to settle into middle age. As always, the locales are breathtaking, the cuisine to die for, and the humor delightfully devilish.

Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: Even artists as gifted as these two can only hitchhike so long on the charisma of household names like Mick Jagger and Michael Caine, and the dueling impressions that fuel the franchise have become effortful and repetitive. – Jeannette Catsoulis, New York Times, Aug 10, 2017

Fresh: Keep your eye on Brydon: He has some great tips for you. – Stephanie Zacharek, TIME Magazine, Aug 11, 2017

Fresh: The Trip to Spain is a breezy study of aging men afraid they've lost their potency, their command of life, their once-certain enshrinement in the culture. It is at once a desperate echo of long-gone glories and a glory itself. – Alan Scherstuhl, Village Voice, Aug 9, 2017

Fresh: I would follow these guys on a trip to anywhere. – Bob Mondello, NPR, Aug 10, 2017

Love ❀️ this

I have seen their other movie and had to see this 1 too. I absolutely love ❀️ these guys. Having been to Spain πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡Έ I want to go back after seeing this movie πŸŽ₯! The Brits are doing imho much better movies the past 5-7 years and I find British humor very cheeky and enjoy the well developed characters. I'd recommend watching this at least once. I know I'll be renting it as soon as it's available. And make sure you have some of your favorite foods to eat while watching. Amazing cuisine πŸ‘¨πŸ»β€πŸ³πŸ·πŸ½πŸΎπŸš΄πŸ»β€β™€οΈβοΈ

So funny it blew my bloody doors off

Beautiful countryside, great food and two of the funniest people working in movies. So this is their thrid trip together (kind of like Hope and Crosby) and it never gets old. Funny, fun and who would have ever thought it but I learned something as well. Their itinerary through Italy is on my bucket list - Spain will follow - then up to the Lake District in England. Hope they keep making them so I can keep traveling with them.

Great movie.

Just loved it, as I did the two before.
