About the Movie

The Unbelievers follows renowned scientists Richard Dawkins and Lawrence Krauss across the globe as they speak publicly about the importance of science and reason in the modern world. Blasphemous to some, heroic to others, the weight of their message is impossible to ignore. Presented in the style of traditional ‘rock-n-roll tour films’, The Unbelievers joins Dawkins and Krauss as they speak to sold-out stadiums and halls across three continents while contending with fans, groupies, critics, debate partners and interviewers along with religious extremists bent on stifling their pro-science/pro-reason message. Months of international travel culminate at the 2012 Rally For Reason on the US Capitol lawn in Washington, D.C. Billed as the largest gathering of atheists, secularists, freethinkers and sceptics in world-history, Dawkins and Krauss bear witness to the impact of their message as over 30,000 adoring fans - and protestors - greet them with enthusiasm.

Believe it.

The Unbelievers is a fun film for science fans and non-believers.

Wonderful film about two daring scientists

The Unbelievers is a fascinating look at two scientists and their passionate response to religious belief around the world. The film captures it's two stars as they answer the call to travel the world and awaken us to the beauty of science and debunk beliefs that are rooted in ancient middle-eastern mysticism. Gus and Luke Holwerda have created a fantastic work that has captured what may have been a pivotal time in history - Highly Recommended!

Refreshingly honest, unexpectedly funny too!

Have an unconventional night and watch THE UNBELIEVERS. Don’t pay attention to those RottenTomatoes reviews, this film is refreshingly honest and unexpectedly funny too.

It’s wonderful to see a film that you can recommend to your friends and family and talk about for hours afterwards.

Definitely a conversation starter! I do wish some of the interviews were a bit longer — Ricky Gervais was great, of course. But cool to see Bill Pullman, Sarah Silverman and Stephen Colbert opening up.
