Rotten: The director is McG, who allows no motion to pass without a musical energy boost.
Rotten: You can imagine how the ball got rolling on "This Means War.'' You can also imagine how the folks who rolled the ball started to lose their minds.
Rotten: Proves to be little more than the canned Spam of the movie world - bland, over-processed and cheap, even when it's spending millions engulfing highways in balls of ludicrous flame.
Rotten: "This Means War" is the worst McG film yet. And good Lord, that is saying something.
I seen atll the bad ratings on this movie and I can'yt believe it. This is one of the best movies I have seen all year. It's a spy movie with a lot of action, comedy, and romance all coming together. I had a lot of really funny parts and a lot of action parts.
The movie was actually a good. The chemistry between Reese Withersoon with Chris Pine and Tom Hardy is little dull and the action is average (nothing really new). The real pleasure of this movie is the chemistry between Chris Pine and Tom Hardy. They make the movie fun and whenever they were on screen, I could not get my eyes off of them. The other thing I like was Chelsea Handler. She was just basically playing herself in this role, but I don't care because she is absolutely hilarious at what she does. The downfall of this movie were the romances and the script/plot. They did not seem realistic and a little bit one dimension. The script/plot was paper thin. I understood the romance rivalry between Chris and Tom but the subplot was just a waste and it was bit distracting. Reese Withersoon and Chris Pine are pretty good actors and Tom Hardy (to me) is the best one, but this script made them seem like they were uncapable actors and I know they can do way better. So watch this movie not for the romances or the actor but for the chemisrty between Chris Pine and Tom Hardy and for Chelsea Handler.
I had a lot of fun watching it. That's what I want. Great.
