About the Movie

Three Asian masters of horror spin twisted tales in this terrifying trilogy. "Dumplings," follows an aging actress's obsession with recapturing her youth which leads to an unnatural diet; "Cut," shadows a movie extra with a grudge who torments a successful director; and in "Box," sibling rivalry and jealousy reach disturbing new heights.

Rotten: All three look great and the filmmakers deliver a certain artiness, but their overall triviality and the unpleasantness of the first two make for an extremely distasteful experience. – Kevin Crust, Los Angeles Times, Jun 24, 2010

3 very good films but "Cut" takes the cake

Most people 1st & 3rd movies were the best but I must disagree. Don't get me wrong "Dumplings" and "Box" were great films but I found "Cut" to be the best film in the collection. It seems that it is misunderstood since the point of the movie IS to be over dramatic as the extra takes complete control of what is going on just like a director controls everything that happens on a set. I found the pacing of the movie to be pitch perfect actually since sometimes it turns to comedy rather than horror and just when you start to feel comfortable again it takes you back to the horror. Anybody who is a fan of horror will at least like one of the films since all of them have quite different styles and should at least rent the movie to experience the awesomness that is 3 Extremes.

Japan meets tales from the crypt / twilight zone

this is definitely more entertaining then movies like saw. worth the watch .

I liked it!

i enjoyed the first and last one. the second one left me confused, but overall, i enjoyed it. It is nothing like i thought it would be,much better in fact. Take a gamble, and rent/buy it :) im sure you will enjoy it.
