When five beautiful teenagers decide it is time to take a break, Anna decides it's time to borrow daddy's credit card, purchase tickets, and invite her friends to her family beach house for some much needed R&R. The pressures of school, disloyal boyfriends, probing therapists, and family problems have been building, and the trip seems like a perfect way to relieve stress. So the girls come together for a fateful night of drinking, dancing, self-discovery - and murder. Cleverly constructed and impeccably tuned, "to.get.her" is a sexy, visually luscious mystery thriller that keeps the tension taut and the viewer guessing as the tale unravels the girls' lives and secrets. Writer/director Erica Dunton draws wonderful performances from a talented ensemble cast and delivers a ride that entertains as much as it illuminates an ever-increasing deadly trend in our society.
Beautifully done very important subject matter! Great to see Traci Dinwiddie involved in such an important film.
Love this movie
This was a jem when I saw it At Sundance. The director did a great job as well as the cast. Loved all the girls. Jazzy and the girl who played Chyna stuck out. Cant wait to see what Dunton and the ladies do next.
By the reviews I guess I was expecting a lot more. I didn't like the cinematographyy~ the hazey filter it was shot through didn't appeal to me. I didn't think the acting was that great either. Just ok. The plot was the best part about the movie and is why I was able to give it 3 stars. I did not anticipate the ending at all.
