About the Movie

The "Duck Commander" Phil Robertson visits historic sites around the world and makes a case for societies maintaining a strong relationship with God. Phil stands atop the Areopagus in Athens, walks along Omaha Beach, and reflects while inside the jail cell that held Martin Luther King Jr., to show what happens when previous societies' faith in God is tested.

Soli Deo Gloria

Praise God

Truth the world wants to ignore.

A call to return to the nation that was founded on faith in God. Mr. Robertson's personal testimony along with his historical and Biblical knowledge points us all to Jesus. Jesus is love. Jesus is the Way.

Historic synopsis of man's plight with God and evil

I purchased Torchbearer without much knowledge of the film. I've enjoyed Phil's books, so I figured that it was a worth seeing his film. Torchbearer is a documentary of sorts walking viewers through many historic examples of the fall of man. The common theme through the film is that when man turns to himself and away from God, death and destruction soon follow. Considering the US is only about 250 years old, it in its infancy compared to many other empires and civilizations. In light of where the country is headed with regard to religion, I'm afraid we are well on our way to becoming the next in a long list of mis-guided, godless, failed civilizations.
