Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: Surprisingly sweet-natured even amid its frequent fountains of bloodshed ... – Dennis Harvey, Variety, Jan 30, 2015

Fresh: A pitch-perfect pastiche that never mocks its inspirations, the picture is silly fun to warm the hearts of aging fanboys and delight hipsters who weren't yet born the first time Mel Gibson donned Max's leathers. – John DeFore, Hollywood Reporter, Mar 24, 2015

Fresh: With nods to Mad Max and a fun synth soundtrack, Turbo Kid packs plenty of retro affection and loopy fun, but its over-the-top violence gets tiresome; think Monty Python's Black Knight on endless repeat. – Linda Barnard, Toronto Star, Aug 27, 2015

Fresh: Made for ironicists, Turbo Kid, in its endearingly goofy way, says good things about the power reserves of our childhood - an inner superhero we can call upon when needed. – Brad Wheeler, Globe and Mail, Aug 28, 2015

Mad Max on BMX

Described MAD MAX on BMX this movie premiered at Sundance Film Festival and since then won awards around the world including the Audience Award at SXSW in Austin, TX and Best Director at BiFAN in Korea. Tons of gore and heart, a winning combination!

I loved every moment of it I wish you could make another one

BM-AZING

Every thing you love about being a kid in the 90’s meets the over the top blood baths, water world type characters and mad max. The vibe of a B movie without actually taking taking the full dive, the best soon to be cult classic. It’s a fun loving blood bath.
