Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: U-Turn becomes a showcase for the filmmaker's terrific arsenal of visual mannerisms and free-association imagery. – Janet Maslin, New York Times, Oct 2, 2015

Fresh: As the first Oliver Stone movie to gleefully dispense with sociopolitical significance, U-Turn is an overdue event, a chance for Stone to apply his hypnotic acid-trip-of-the-soul wizardry to something sexy and lowdown. – Owen Gleiberman, Entertainment Weekly, Oct 2, 2015

Rotten: It's so empty emotionally it's difficult to see what the point is, unless it's the celebration of emptiness, an aim that has become so familiar recently it hardly seems worth the trouble everyone has gone to. – Kenneth Turan, Los Angeles Times, Oct 2, 2015

Rotten: Stone the propagandist was insufferable, but as a cynic he's even worse. – Michelle Goldberg,, Aug 8, 2006

Chris Penn & Jennifer lopez

Do it hardcore in the woods....Just a heads up, also aside from the crappy camera angles and soundtrack that does not fit the scenes...and also camera shots that are unnecessary, U-Turn is just one of those movies that are enjoyable to watch and is just a brush off from those cheesy western movies. Done Deal!

This is NOT HD! iTunes lists the film as being available in HD for $17.99, however it is just a widescreen version of the standard definition yet more than 2x the price. Hopefully iTunes will refund me due to false advertisement.
