Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: Up in the Air is so funny, so consistently surprising and so emotionally in-touch that it could have only been crafted by one of the most soulful directors working today. – Simon Miraudo, Quickflix, Apr 4, 2011

Fresh: By far Reitman's most accomplished film to date, both in terms of craft and its stealth avoidance of typical Hollywood flight patterns... – Scott Foundas, Film Comment Magazine, Jun 28, 2013

Fresh: The film, written by Reitman and Sheldon Turner, is consistently entertaining, though it coasts through a long middle and towards the end threatens to take a nose-dive into sentimentality. – Anthony Quinn, Independent, Jun 24, 2010

Fresh: A brilliantly accomplished feat of self-contradiction. We have our cake, or candy box, and eat it. – Nigel Andrews, Financial Times, Jun 24, 2010

The Best Film of 2009....A Classic

This film is perfectly made. The direction, acting and writing are all so spot on that every single scene is either dramatic comedic or somewhere in between. After this film had ended I was blown away with how amazing it was. I was very disappointed to see that it had not one a single Oscar. This film is a perfect portrait of life in the 21st century and as time goes on I hope the acclaim for this film will continue to grow. I would like to be able to purchase this film from iTunes but for people who haven't seen this yet I HIGHLY recommend it. You certainly won't regret seeing the best film of 2009.
