Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: Britain and India face off in National Lampoon's Van Wilder 2: The Rise of Taj, a strained attempt to transplant the American campus comedy to more uptight shores. – Jeannette Catsoulis, New York Times, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: Everything old is old again in this rickety extension of 2002's already rickety Van Wilder. – Lisa Schwarzbaum, Entertainment Weekly, Jul 7, 2010

Rotten: The four-years-in-the-making, badly recycled (not to mention awful) sequel might stain the honor of the Lampoon label if it hadn't already produced several even worse films. – Dennis Harvey, Variety, Jul 7, 2010

Rotten: Penn, who also takes an executive producer credit here, wanders around halfheartedly attempting to make something amusing out of the limp shock-comedy antics, but it all just goes in one innuendo and out the other. – Michael Rechtshaffen, Hollywood Reporter, Jun 24, 2010

A Must Have!!!!!

This is one of, if not THE funniest movie I have ever seen. This is equally as funny as Pineapple Express or National Lampoon's Van Wilder. I was literally laughing my head off after the first 5 minutes. One thing though, get Van Wilder before you purchase this. If you haven't watched VW (Van Wilder), you may get lost during the beginning of the movie. Enjoy!

Worst of the worst

This movie has no substance. I knew going into this that I wasn't going to get an academy awarding winning flick, but this goes way beyond bad... a whole new level of worst in class.

amazing
