Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: Hypnotic slo-mo images of honeybees flapping their wings are about all that distinguishes the docu Vanishing of the Bees from a well-researched article on its subject. – Rob Nelson, Variety, Apr 26, 2011

Fresh: Fascinating subject expertly covered. – Anna Smith, Empire Magazine, Jun 24, 2010

Rotten: There's little form to the structure, the editing is amateurish and the narration is puerile. It's a worthwhile subject - but the film is too poor to justify a release. – Derek Adams, Time Out, Jun 24, 2010

Fresh: Its US focus is disappointing considering the global issues, the sound mix is terrible in places, there's some iffy animation. – Daniel Etherington, Film4, Jun 24, 2010

Awesome

Great documentary that really gets in depth at how we are destroying are little furry wing friends and how we can work together to solve this alarming problem.

Anti-science

This movie is a bunch of anti-big business, romantic claptrap about the environment.
