Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: Everything feels forced, from Veronica's almost compulsive snappy patter to a class reunion that includes a sex tape and a brawl. – Manohla Dargis, New York Times, Mar 13, 2014

Fresh: Right now, the question is how did Veronica Mars turn out as a movie? It's a mixed bag. Too much time wasted on a whodunit that's more like a who-cares. No matter. Mars fans will have a blast. – Peter Travers, Rolling Stone, Mar 14, 2014

Fresh: It's effective as a sequel to the television series and works just as well as a stand-alone film. – Claudia Puig, USA Today, Mar 13, 2014

Fresh: Ties up a lot of loose ends and opens up a new can of worms. – Betsy Sharkey, Los Angeles Times, Mar 13, 2014

Brilliant Marketing!

Fan funded and Simultaneous theater and online release. Finally a viable solution to bootlegging movies! I have spent $$$ to see movies in theater and never would buy them, but this is a win-win!!! Hope the rest of Hollywood gets the hint.

best movie of life

I've been a marshmallow ever since it came out and i will always remain one… saw the movie tonight (woo! early release!) and it was fantastic… saw it hours ago and ready to buy the digital copy now and watch a few more times.
its great seeing so many familiar faces, and so many little 'easter eggs' that i probably would have missed if i didn't spend the last week re-watching the past 3 seasons. so yes great movie, great acting. just want more though!!!!

I loved it! It's just perfect for a Netflix series!
