Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: Victor/Victoria is so good, so exhilarating, that the only depressing thing about it is the suspicion that Mr. Edwards is going to have a terrible time trying to top it. – Vincent Canby, New York Times, May 20, 2011

Fresh: Victor/Victoria is a sparkling, ultra-sophisticated entertainment from Blake Edwards. – Variety Staff, Variety, May 20, 2011

Fresh: Not only a funny movie, but, unexpectedly, a warm and friendly one. – Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times, May 20, 2011

Fresh: Blake Edwards's 1982 sex comedy has the most beautiful range of tones of any American film of its period: it is a work of dry wit, high slapstick, black despair, romantic warmth, and penetrating intelligence. – Dave Kehr, Chicago Reader, May 20, 2011

This movie has always been one on my favorites I totally recommend this movie to anyone who hasn't seen it yet. It's funny. romantic and down right wonderful.

A wonderful film, julie andrews at her best

I saw this film the other day and have to say that it is one of my favorite musicals Lighthearted, crazy funny, and full of excellent and catchy songs, it shows Julie Andrews in a totally different role as she showcases her great vocal skills, wild side, and chemistry with the male lead. A classic not to be missed, Victor Victoria is a hysterical and fun film.

LOVE this movie!

Ok, this movie is downright hilarious! You must buy it-you won't be disappointed! It is FABULOUS! The actors are great, and the story is great, and it is a really well-done movie. Enjoy! :-) My friends and I actually made our own version of this because we love it so much!
