Celebrate 75 Years of Rebels from 20th Century Fox! Singer. Rebel. Outlaw. Hero. With his driving freight-train chords, steel-eyed intensity and a voice as dark as the night, the legendary "Man in Black" revolutionized music - and forged his legacy as a genuine American icon. Golden Globe winners Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon star (and sing) as Johnny Cash and June Carter in this inspiring true story of one man's unwavering devotion to his sound, his message and the greatest love of his life.

Top Critics' Reviews
Fresh: [Director] James Mangold's mostly excellent Walk the Line is designed as a Christian epic.
Fresh: A Johnny Cash biopic equally packed with music and frustrated love, Walk the Line goes from compelling to enthralling.
Fresh: If Walk the Line isn't the full story of Johnny Cash, it's at least a crucial corner of it, a way of coaxing a legend down to a human scale, without shrinking that legend away to nothingness.
Rotten: Walk the Line is absolute standard biopic stuff, so familiar that it blatantly echoes last year's Ray, which similarly failed to do justice to the legendary Ray Charles.
Walk the Line
I think this is just a phonominal movie, it really portrays the connection between june and johnny and the actors are really fantastic at playing their parts. I Love this movie and i always have, probably one of the best movies that was made from a musician's life. It drew me to Johnny Cash and made me love his music even more than i already did.
they couldn't have chosen a better actor to play Johnny Cash. From his voice to his movements, Phoenix is absolutely amazing. Five stars all the way.
This movie really came into its own. Phoenix and Witherspoon both created their own characters of Johnny Cash and June Carter. They both played the role well and their singing was amazing. It was as if they were the artists themselves. I would highly recommend this movie to music lovers of all kinds.
