Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston star in this laugh-out-loud comedy about leaving it all behind. After George (Rudd) loses his high-stress Manhattan job, he and his wife, Linda (Aniston), hit the road and wind up crashing at Elysium, a free-spirited community of hippies, tree-huggers and the occasional nudist. Featuring an all-star ensemble cast including Justin Theroux, Malin Akerman and Alan Alda, Wanderlust has “more laughs than I’ve had at the movies in a very long time.” (Carrie Rickey, Philadelphia Inquirer)

Top Critics' Reviews
Fresh: Paul Rudd is the best friend a movie comedy can have.
Rotten: A comedy that looks way better than it actually is set amidst the dreck of late winter releases...
Fresh: It's hard to remember a comedy so populated with good character bits.
Rotten: A shambling mix of cheap laughs and genuinely funny set pieces from writer-director David Wain.
MUCH BETTER THAN I THOUGHT IT'D BE
I had very little, if any, expectations when I rented "Wanderlust" at a hotel. It looked like a decent R-rated comedy, so I decided to check it out. And it was actually pretty good. In fact, it ended up being a laugh riot. The story was simple enough: A middle-aged couple (Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston) facing financial ruin leave their Manhattan home and happen to stumble upon a hippie commune, where they decide they don't want to leave. Hilarity ensues. While the movie never really takes its zany premise to the next level, it does benefit from some hilariously off-the-wall performances from its talented cast. Justin Theroux, in particular, had me laughing my butt off at times. I was also pleasantly surprised at how strong the chemistry was between Rudd and Aniston, who got to share a few great comedic moments together. I just wish I could've seen more of Alan Alda's character since his dialogue was some of the funniest in the entire film, but I digress. And even though "Wanderlust" was spot-on when it came to its hysterical and outrageously crude scenes, which came sporadically but were delivered with excellent execution, it did suffer from its share of flaws. The plot felt unbalanced most of the time, the pacing was a bit off and some of the characters were either too clichéd or uninteresting to remember. But other than that, it was a fun, top-notch comedy. Sure, it isn't as memorable as "Anchorman" or "Superbad", but if you need a good laugh, you can always rent this movie to get your fill.
Not Very Good
There where a few parts of just disgusting dialog with no purpose.
And I thought that I would see Jennifer Aniston nude, but no. That was disappointing.
Really Dumb Film
This was one of the dumbest movies I've seen in a long time. Do yourself a favor and save your $.
The only people who will find this movie funny are the 15 year old boys who couldn't see this in the theater without their parents. All the unnecessary f-bombs, pee-pee jokes and boob shots will be right up their alley...
