About the Movie
WHAT NOW is a comedy about three best friends/roommates who have just hit 30 and aren’t happy with their careers or single lives. They explore the world of online dating in Los Angeles and quickly find their dates turning south when the girls find out what they do for a living. A friend convinces them to start lying about their jobs and say what they really wish they were, but the guys find out that honesty is the only way to true love and that anyone who would judge you because of your salary or how many followers you have online is someone who has their own soul-searching to do.

Talk about a fresh comedy
This movie is so culturally relative/in the NOW it’s ridiculous. Today’s dating scene is all centered around the cell phone and social media - making yourself out to appear greater than you really are, more attractive than you actually look, inflating your ego just to impress the people you aspire to be. The main characters in the movie quickly get caught up in online dating/mobile dating apps and realize that they have to “play the game” to be where they feel that they “need” to be in LA/Hollywood high society. Things seem to be going well for the main characters until their lies and exaggerated self-perceptions coming crashing down on them. No spoilers here but as someone who has seen the film prior to release, I just feel the need to give advance warning that this movie will make a huge impact in 2015.
AWESOME
I was fortunate enough to see the movie in advance. I loved this movie because you can completely relate to the characters/story and how they deal with the same BS everyone does with mobile/online dating. Do yourself a favor and purchase this. This will be a cult classic you and your friends will watch numerous times and recite the hilarious lines.
the truth
It’s funny because it’s true!!! “say what you were going to say!! i can see your little dots!!!” (and the nostalgia factor with the wrestlers and cameos does NOT disappoint!)
