Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: Not to be flip, but "Where Hope Grows" has the potential to be a decent inspirational film until God shows up. – Neil Genzlinger, New York Times, May 14, 2015

Fresh: Like most if not all faith-based entertainments, "Where Hope Grows" embraces the idea that God works in mysterious ways. But it also insists that God helps only those who help themselves. – Joe Leydon, Variety, May 14, 2015

Rotten: Director Chris Dowling should have taken another swing at his script for the sake of clarity and dimension before cameras rolled. – Gary Goldstein, Los Angeles Times, May 14, 2015

Fresh: Writer-director Chris Dowling handles [the] worrisome premise with a more even hand than this genre's ill-advised predecessors ... – Michael Nordine, Village Voice, May 12, 2015

Great Movie!

Loved it!

Great Movie

Although I wouldn't recomend this for young children, due to the extreme use of alcohol, drunk driving and near rape episodes, this is a great family movie, especially for young teens. Also, I just want to say that is super sad that we live in a world where people rate a great movie a 1 just because "God shows up". Praise Jesus that God still shows up.

FINALLY!

A LEGIT, NON-CHEEZY Christian flic! A Must see!
