Top Critics' Reviews

Fresh: Looking at the handmade sets now, it's sort of surprising how cheap the show's production values were. But the lessons taught there were priceless. – Chris Nashawaty, Entertainment Weekly, Jun 8, 2018

Fresh: Soothing TV host Fred Rogers was quietly radical at shaping generations of American children. And this funny, touching and vital doc from Oscar winner Morgan Neville shows why the late Mr. Rogers remains timely and timeless. – Peter Travers, Rolling Stone, Jun 7, 2018

Fresh: Neville is an experienced professional who knows what questions to ask and, working with editors Jeff Malmberg and Aaron Wickenden, how to assemble the answers. – Kenneth Turan, Los Angeles Times, Jun 7, 2018

Fresh: As Oscar winner Morgan Neville's timely, tear-duct lubricating documentary "Won't You Be My Neighbor?" makes clear, the easily parodied, often underestimated icon of children's television was a total badass. – Mary Elizabeth Williams,, Jun 14, 2018

I am so grateful!

I am so grateful that I grew up a time where I have the privilege and honor of being able to watch Mr. Rogers on television. There has never been a single thing ever since, that has come to the level of care and compassion for all children, and bring up subjects that no one else ever wants to talk about.

Love Mr. Rogers

Looking forward to this film. He was priceless

I’m looking forward to seeing this, Mr. Rogers was the real deal. A good Man. But I’m sure he wouldn’t approve of the PG-13 rating.
