Top Critics' Reviews

Rotten: For every lively moment, there's a reminder that the franchise is tiring. The genre's emphasis on potential mass death is obsessive and unimaginative. – Glenn Kenny, New York Times, May 26, 2016

Rotten: Enough already. Singer throws so much mutant at us that nothing sticks. I was almost rooting for Trump to impose a quota. – Peter Travers, Rolling Stone, May 27, 2016

Fresh: Those who have seen the previous "X-Men" movies will likely feel motivated to keep their run complete, and over 2 hours and 23 minutes, they mostly get their money's worth. – Brian Lowry, CNN.com, May 26, 2016

Fresh: Even the hardcore geeks who like to get their Comic-Con on might be feeling a little superhero fatigue right about now. Still. You owe it to yourself to see Quicksilver do his thing. – Richard Roeper, Chicago Sun-Times, May 26, 2016

Xcelent movie

Recommend you to watch it I give it a 8/10 ignore the critics watch it for yourself

X-Men Apocalypse

one of the best x-men movies. much better than Deadpool.

A welcome addition to the family

As the wishy-washy X-men series has gone on, it has had some good moments, and some bad. I was pleasantly suprised to say that this movie was one of the better in the franchise. While a bit more intense than previous movies, it delivers on action, story, and characters well. It felt like x-men. Maybe it was the 80's setting, maybe it was the refreshed characters, maybe it was the fan service, but it FELT LIKE X-MEN TO ME. Something earlier entries could not accomplish. Fans of the franchise should enjoy this.

P.S.(Two amazing quicksilver scenes. If he was your favorite part of Days of Future Past, you'll enjoy these for sure)
