Loved it!

A very funny, very clever and very Southern comedy about a determined mother who tries to find a husband for her gay son. Very well acted, especially by Joanne McGee (as the mom) and Carol Goans as her sister, who devise a scheme to find a mate for their son/nephew.

Laugh out loud comedy of manners...

This unexpectedly clever clash between the sensibilities of a well-meaning southern mom trying to help her gay son find love was a treat! I think you'll find yourself with quite a few quotable lines by the time you reach the closing credits. Enjoy!

One of my favorite romantic comedies!

This movie is charming, the story of a guy and his terrific mom who, while at first shocked to find out her son is gay, comes around and enlists her sister in the hunt for her son's Mr. Right. Great acting, especially the two female leads. The scene when the two women (of a certain age) walk into a gay bar to 'find a man' is hysterical. The various gay relationships portrayed in the film run the gamut and the main love story is touching. I thoroughly recommend this movie!
