Hodge-podge of shots

My purpose is not to critique this's ok, if slightly amateurish. My real issue is the fact that we still can't get "Addicted to Love" -- the best music video ever!!!! What are you guys thinking? The best part of this video is the few seconds of the A2L video that make it through the frenetic MTV-type editing. Still, a couple of seconds is something, I suppose.

In Honor of Robert

Robert Palmer had an awesome career! He helped shape the Music Video into the art medium we've grown to love. I agree with the plea for Addicted To Love! It truly was & is the best of the best & would go great with this duo of classic RP videos. I do hope you offer it soon. Bad Case of Loving you is a sassy little piece (excuse my near brush with French, please). I'm thrilled to add it & Simply Irrestible to my IPod Video Playlist. I gotta gripe about one more thing, though... It sure would be nice to play these groovy videos on my TV. I Want My MTV & I'm quite frustrated with the Reality BS we're currently stuck with. Is there any hope of Apple expanding their limitted media range anytime soon? You got us sold/bought & captured... But to stay on top & fresh you'll have to give the market what they want. Welcome to the Free Market Game. Thank you for hearing me out. Now please bow your heads & take a few moments of silence in honor of Robert Pamer. His life was far too short & memories far to precious for us to let him pass without paying our respects. Thank you Robert for leaving us with your timeless musical contributions. You'll live on forever & ever. Now Go Bang a Gong & Get It On!!!

Class and Rock Can Be a Good Combo

Great montage of all his videos is the theme of this video, with an upbeat song to boot. Palmer is great as always.

The career of blue-eyed soul singer Robert Palmer was a study in style versus substance. While the performer's earliest work won praise for its skillful assimilation of rock, R&B, and reggae sounds, his records typically sold poorly, and he achieved his greatest notoriety as an impeccably dressed lounge lizard. By the mid-'80s, however, Palmer became a star, although his popularity owed less to the strength of his material than to his infamous music videos: taking their cue from the singer's...
