Personally, as a fan of Nelson's I think he covered Matthew's well. And who cares if Matthews is younger. He covered a Cyndy Lauper song on a previous cd and she's younger too. So is Rob Thomas who also worked with him. And Brian McKnight. Should they not have because they're all younger?


the song isn't a classic song, but it's a good one none the less to cover. love the message and willie's heart. And believe mr nelson doesn't have to cover a song to accomplish anything! let the man perform what he wants.. he's earned it. im sure he's not trying to make anything "his own" he started it all, son.
