FUN FUN FUN!

Saw them in Austin during SXSW (Same venue as The Duke Spirit) and I was blown away by what this duo put together. They've got a knack for catchy beats, their energy on stage is PHENOMENAL, and they were real crowd pleasers. Good song writing!

Really good for a new band

I actually really like the song. It's catchy, has a good beat, and I'm probably gonna be singing it all day, regardless of whether or not I can actually sing. And, is it just me or is there a vague hint of Paramore-esk rhythm and sound in this song??

Named after a Chinese friend whose name sounds like the Mandarin pronunciation of "bandstand," the Ting Tings — a scrappy, dance-oriented duo consisting of singer/guitarist Katie White and drummer Jules De Martino — formed in the Salford district of Manchester, England in 2006. Prior to forming the group, the pair worked together in 2001 when White was in the all-female punk-pop group TKO and De Martino wrote some songs for them.
