True Artist

A lot of people say that La Roux is just a wannabe Lady Gaga. I disagree. La Roux is her own person and is successful because of her music and how she presents herself. Plus they have different styles of music. Just because they are both different doesn't mean one is copying the other. I respect La Roux because unlike Lady Gaga, she's even different with little things like eye make up. As America pictures beauty as dark make-up, thin body, and skimpy clothing, La Roux isn't flaunting what she has. She doesn't wear pounds of black make-up. This is unfamiliar when thinking about public celebrity figures and is refreshing. I feel like she's awake and for lack of a better word, clean.

FIVE STARS FOR VIDEO, ONE STAR FOR VIDEO QUALITY

Pixel-filled rectangle in center of screen!

Something is very wrong with this vid - there's a rectangle of rough, pixel-like mess obscuring everything - like a veil - in the center of the shots. This is NOT present when viewed elsewhere. Please fix this, as it really ruins the viewing experience and the beautiful imagery.

However, Jackson's style changed as she got into the rave scene, taking her music in a more electronic direction. Meanwhile,...
