Loved it

I actually really loved this video. It followed the song very well. It was good tht it wasn't something obvious, like: Clark Kent/Superman is over-exposed to Kryptonite. Lois Lane finds him, but:Oh, no! He's lost his powers! Will she still love him? Will his mortality drive him insane? Do the people's cries for help that he can no longer answer drive him further around the bend? It looked like the old man was the man who played the green superhero on tv to me. And to the woman (prostitute?) this crazy, hunched over old man WAS Superman. He followed them all over town, getting beat up by a gang in the process, to help her. When no one else would. In the end, that's what Superman did. You could strip his powers away, you could poison him with kryptonite (and in the old man's case: age) and he'd still come back, determined to protect the people. The story isn't about green and red rocks, or aliens, or men who can bend steel. It's about doing what's right, even when you have to sacrifice yourself to do it. I think it was a great video, and I think that it related to the video exceptionally well. And yeah, it was a little wacky. But that's what I love about it, and it's just the slightest bit endearing. Was it the standard thing that you think about when you hear the song? No. And that's what gives a group staying power, if they can think outside the box. I've still got that song on my IPod, 4 years later. I still get it stuck in my head. I can't wait until the new album!

This viedo rocks!

It seems like 3 Doors Down out did them selfs when they made this video. It shows not only brilliance but a great story line. The song is great as well, never before have I hear a song that so many people know and love. Another thing that makes you love this video even more is that it actually has a point. Many videos don't have a point but this one is everything it should be and even more.

This freakin video rocks!!!!!!!

One of the best videos I've seen in a while its completly great definately a must buy if your a big 3 Doors Down fan such as myself!!!!

Hailing from the small town of Escatawpa, Mississippi, 3 Doors Down hit their peak in the early 2000s with a string of post-grunge singles, most notably "Kryptonite," "When I'm Gone," and the ballad "Here Without You." "Kryptonite," with its minor-key shuffle and references to Superman, was the catalyst for the band's career, generating an unprecedented buzz at a local radio station — Biloxi's WCPR — during the band's independent days. Such support helped make 3 Doors Down a regional...
