My friends

My friends, "My Friends" is positively one of RHCP's finest works. I'm sure none of you who listened to this song are musicians, and actually listened the the bare backbone of this song, without the vocals. This has at least five layers of guitar in it, which have been overdubbed to make it sound like it's one guitar. Anthony Kiedis's voice really shines in this song, and in the video, when he is in the sound booth, he really looks like an angel, basking in the light, and singing an angelic song. This video, simple yes, but mesmerizing, reason unknown. The boat version, yeah, it's pretty cool, but it just is a little overdoing it. Especially when Anthony is flipping his hair around like a model. And, i know everyone likes John better than Dave, but that's really because all of the radio hits have John. In my opinion, "One Hot Minute" (the CD this song comes off of) is possibly their best CD. So if any of you actually are going to say that this song/video is junk, just read this review first.

RHCP!!

Beautiful song, ok video. anthony's hot body makes up for it

Years Active: '80s, '90s, '00s, '10s

The roots of the band lay in a friendship forged by three school chums, Anthony Kiedis, Michael Balzary, and Hillel Slovak,...
