O!G Doesn't Disappoint

Wow...I'm writing this review again because the last one I wrote for this song was too short and rushed because I wanted to BUY the video!!! Anyways...I remember the first time I ever saw this video. My friend called me and asked me if I saw it and I began freaking out because I hadn't checked my email for days where I get my Switchfoot newsletters. So I went to youtube and thought that had too bad of quality for a first time viewing so I went to google video and saw it by making the window smaller for better quality. I immediatley loved this video and couldn't stop watching it. Switchfoot has really gotten creative. Here are some things I'll tell you about this video... - First, if you DON'T want to pay $$$ for this video go to Google Video. Type in "oh! gravity" and you can download this for video ipods by selecting download for...video ipod/sony psp. Right click the save target as link when it appears in the description...then go to your iTunes movies library and click "File", then "Add file to library" and find the o!g video you downloaded and click it, Now you can watch it on your iPod for free. - The O!G video on Google Video doesn't have as good as quality as the iTunes one, so I suggest you buy the iTunes one if you really care about how the ending REALLY looks like. - The backgrounds in this video feature artwork from their O!G album. - Jerome slams his hands on the piano after the first chorus. - In the second chorus you see Jon facing up and kicking his legs with his hair hanging down...go to the switchfoot podcasts on iTunes (it's free viewing) and watch podcast #12 and you will see Jon filming the O!G video and he's lying on his back kicking his legs and his hair is hanging down =D. - The ending is the best part. Jon's face morphs into his album artwork face on O!G as everything is spinning and it smoothly changes to the O!G cover art. You can the see the ending the BEST on the iTunes music video. I hope this review was helpful and I hope you take my advice from a Switchfoot fan who owns all of their CD's (me).

Their Undoubted Best Yet

As an avid and seriously inspired (not obsessed) Switchfoot fan, I have experienced this song throught the website, at a live show, and the video on Yahoo music from the release date. There is no doubt in my mind that this is the best video yet made by Switchfoot, surpassing Meant to Live, Dare You to Move, and Stars. A must have for any fan of music. Switchfoot is absolutely obsessed with their new album's album art, I've even talked to Jon about it, he sounded so excited.

YAY!

This video is awesome! Love the expressions and the background. Also got to hear the album super early and it is a total HIT! (well 4 days early!) Luv this song and all the new songs. Switchfoot never disappoints!

Genre: Alternative

Years Active: '90s, '00s, '10s

After gaining a foothold in the contemporary Christian music scene, Switchfoot went mainstream with 2003's The Beautiful Letdown, a double-platinum album that straddled the line between sacred and secular rock music. Years before Switchfoot's commercial breakthrough, though, the group struggled to make a dent in the San Diego area, where singer/guitarist Jonathan Foreman, bassist Tim Foreman, and drummer Chad Butler began playing together in 1996. The lineup logged several shows under its original...
