Rod Stewart: Great Musician, Great Video

If you enjoy Rod Stewart you will love this video. I waited a long time for itunes to get these, but it was worth the wait!

Just One Man's Humble Opinion...

I don't hate this video or the angle it took. I just don't like it. This would've been a 5 star video. I mean it's PERFECT: Rod never looked or sounded better, the setting is fantastic with so many beautiful women, & this rendition of the old classic is my favorite, but they ruined it half way through by increasingly focusing on one particularly out-of-place "model/dancer" & the video definitely lost it's mojo. It looks like Dennis Rodman wiggling around in a Victoria's Secret ad. I kept yelling out: "OMG!! Get her out of the way! There she(?) is AGAIN!! Somebody, do something!!" I guess that must be part of the CanCan burlesque scene > I don't know > but the overt directorial decision (perhaps it was Roddy himself) just hijacked the whole thing for me. Many will love it, perhaps, but I, personally, was significantly repulsed.
