The Famous FOB

This video leaves off where the “Dance, Dance” video left off. In the very beginning you see the guys playing the last seconds of “Dance, Dance” on the stage at the dance. The music ends as Pete calms the crowd. They walk off the stage and Andrew changes the song on his mp3 player. After some silence you hear the beginning of “This Ain’t a Scene, It’s an Arms Race”. FOB walks through the crowd pushing the cardboard people in their way. FOB goes outside and enters this NICE car with a crowd of people around them. A magazine appears and it says “Fall Out Boy Records With Hip-Hop Super Producer”. When Patrick begins singing the R&B style verse, he is in a recording booth with the other members while rap fans watch from the side. Patrick starts moving his arms in a weird way and the people watching him begin to laugh. When the punk rock style chorus comes, FOB goes crazy in the recording studio and one of them ends up breaking something that’s glass and the hip-hop producers get mad. Then you see a magazine that says “Fall Out Boy Thrown Out of the Hood”. Patrick begins singing and he’s in a room filled with ladies and it looks to be a hotel room. Pete is at a photo-shoot for himself. The photographer grabs one of the worker’s phones and begins taking pictures of him. Someone is also knocking on the door of the room where the other members are partying. The photographer (who is a guy & bald) tell Pete to unzip his pants. Pete looks kind of hesitant but does. Then it shows a magazine that says “Petey’s Unit Exposed on Web”. Next you see some teen girls loading the picture of Pete without bottoms on their computer. When it loads to where the girls can see it (it doesn’t really SHOW you in the video) two girls’ jaws drop and one girl is disgusted. When the chorus starts, Patrick and the members are tearing up the party room and feathers from the pillows are flying everywhere. Andrew is also getting out of a car about to go to a party and he stuffs the front of his pants with a sock. FOB enters the more “fancier” party. You see Andrew in a hot tub with all of these ladies. Then it shows a magazine saying “Andrews Makes HUGE Splash at Honey Mansion”. After that, you see FOB and everyone going wild in the first party room and two of them are rolling from bed to bed. Pete also kisses one of the ladies in the rush. Then a huge fat guy jumps on one of the beds and sends Pete flying out the window. The scene then changes to Patrick on a stage at a funeral in the middle of a green field with tons of choir singers dancing behind him. Patrick begins saying the bridge part. Pete jumps out of the coffin when everyone finishes singing altogether. Pete wakes up and everything is black & white and FOB is in a bedroom sleeping. Andrew asks Pete, “Dreams again?” The screen then says they are at Des Moines, Iowa in 2003. Pete wakes the other 2 up and they run to a concert. They are all playing at a concert for the last chorus at the end. Pete then jumps into the crowd when the song ends (and he was injured afterward in real life). Buy it. Good video.

FOB dose it again!

This video is really awesome! Its not as theatrical as "A little less 16 candles.." and its not full with as much dancing as "Dance, Dance" but its just as good. I think it’s cool that they can make fun of themselves *cough* Pete *cough* and acknowledge the fact that they did something stupid and then make it into a video for the whole world to see. With the catchy tune of the song and the exaggerated aspects of their lives its no wonder this video has already become a hit!

very different than there old stuff but just as good I LOVE THIS SONG && VIDEO. i love when all the ppl from their other videos come in its cute =] lol

Fall Out Boy rose to the forefront of emo pop in the mid-2000s, selling more than four million albums thanks to the band's tabloid-grabbing bassist, able-voiced frontman, and handful of Top 40 hits. The group's four members first came together in Wilmette, a bedroom community 14 miles north of Chicago, around 2001. Vocalist/guitarist Patrick Stump, bassist/lyricist Pete Wentz, drummer Andrew Hurley, and guitarist Joe Trohman had all taken part in various bands connected to Chicago's underground hardcore...
