She's trying way too hard and and it's embarrassing to watch. She is honestly doing all this new stuff because she thinks its making her cool and have swag but its definitely not the case.

It's a whole new Miley

What can I say about this video?

It's weird. It has a skull made out of French fries, a piñata filled with hotdogs and mini-pancakes (?), creepy taxidermied goats, and some ratchet twerking, among many other oddities. For the casual music video watcher, it's probably the last thing one would expect to see from an ex-Disney teen star like Miley Cyrus.

However, surprisingly, the video really works. It's provocative, but it's also entertaining. The weirdness isn't over the top or forced, but is very fun-loving and complimentary of Miley's attempt to separate herself from the Hannah Montana image. The key to enjoying this video is to not take it too seriously. Appreciate it for what it is: a 20-year-old girl's experimentary attempt to try something new and express herself in a shocking, yet endearing, new way.

This is disgusting. Is this something Miley would want her future kids to see? This video sends the wrong message to the kids who watch it, especially her younger fans. I was excited for Miley's new album as I've been a long time fan but I'm sadly very disappointed in this and probably won't buy the album if it's like this. So sad.

Overnight popularity wasn't a new thing for the Cyrus family; Miley's father, country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, went from obscurity to stardom in a few short months in 1992, when "Achy Breaky Heart" became a crossover hit. The success of "Achy Breaky Heart" was hardly the only memorable event for Billy...
