I saw Ambrosia when One Eighty came out and was one of my first concerts.They played at UC Irvine.I was so naive at the time ,when David Pack came out into the audience durring 'Dance With Me George' I reached out to touch his hand not realizing that wasn't the 'manly-man thing' to do.My brother just laughed and said at least I didn't get kissed! For whatever reason,the band's 'one key member short' and he is hard to be replaced-talent wise.

Los Angeles quartet Ambrosia, whose founding members included guitarist/vocalist David Pack, bassist/vocalist Joe Puerta, keyboardist Christopher North, and drummer Burleigh Drummond, fused symphonic art rock with a slickly produced pop sound. The group was discovered in 1971 by Los Angeles Philharmonic conductor Zubin Mehta, who featured Ambrosia as part of a so-called All-American Dream Concert.
