Andrew Bird is no stranger to reinvention. His early work with the group Bowl of Fire showcased the jazz-leaning songwriter's classical violin training and hyper-literate lyrics, but it wasn't until the band broke up that he came into his own. With a new direction that swapped bandmates for loop pedals, Bird embraced a guitar-driven folk sound on LPs like 2005's breakout Andrew Bird & the Mysterious Production of Eggs. He's also showed the range of his talent with projects like 2011's movie soundtrack Norman.
