Fugazi's massive impact was a foregone conclusion: previously, frontman Ian MacKaye cofounded the legendary Minor Threat, and Guy Picciotto and Brendan Canty played together in the influential Rites Of Spring. On hiatus since 2003, their musical impact continues with MacKaye in The Evens, Canty collaborating with alt-rock icon Bob Mould, and Joe Lally with Ataxia and on a string of jazzy solo LPs.
