Customer Reviews

Loved it, learned, and want more!

"Reel World Theology" brings a great balance of reviews for the movies discussed. I started with the "Man if Steel"discussion and will move on to "Into Darkness" once I let all this set in. Being a lover of apologetics, great movies, and the Superman character, this really hits the sweet spot.

While I enjoy aspects of the commentators, there are obviously parts that I differ with, but just when I feel like when person goes to far, we get a countering voice to balance out any extremes.

What I enjoy the most about the podcast is the theology itself. There are subjects that I haven't taken into consideration, and others that I would have loved to have heard or of even discussed with these guys. Mike, love you man, you're doing a great job.

perfect mix

this podcast is an amazing mix of review and theology. you get great filmmaking insight while also taking a look at the subtle narratives of the movie. the rotating panel of guests makes every show unique.

Great Tone, Rich Content

I have listened to these more than once to make sure I caught every part of the conversation, because of the care this Podcast takes in its content. Rather than espousing general opinions, multiple aspects of each film are tackled, from multiple perspectives.
The guests are chosen with the topic at hand in mind so that each can bring a special something to the discussion, and they are not afraid to amiably disagree!
I also enjoy the light-heartedness of the tone--it feels like you are part of the conversation with normal, down-to-earth people.
Looking forward to more!
