Trek.fm Goes All Out Sci Fi

Trek.fm is a network talking about Star Trek, but I'm willing to bet if you're a Star Trek fan, than you might be a fan of other things Sci Fi/Fantasy. I know the first sci-fi/fantasy show I loved as a kid growing up was Star Trek The Next Generation. Well that love led me to the rest of Star Trek, but it also led me to just being a fan of the genre in general. Things like Babylon 5, Farscape, Star Wars, to a lesser extent Battlestar Galactica, and today with the Marvel movies and Orphan Black, Sci Fi/Fantasy has played an important part in my life

That brings us to the 602 Club, another great show from the great hosts/contributors of the Trek.fm Network. The love of Star Trek leads to the love of a lot of things Sci Fi, and this is the show that covers the genre as a whole. So far they've only done one episode, which is talking about Episode 7 and Star Wars Rebels, but this episode continues in the tradition of Trek.fm's reputation of quality content and outstanding discussion. If you are a fan of Trek.fm, the hosts/guests of trek.fm, and/or sci fi in genral, this podcast is highly recommended. I'm looking forward to the wide array of topics they will cover on this show in future episodes.

Love the format

This is awesome! I love that we'll be listening to all kinds of sci fi and I'm excited for what this program will bring.

An INCREDIBLE addition to the TREK.FM club!!!

TREK.FM has a time-honored history of offering Star Trek fans incredibly thematic and well structured Star Trek podcast programming dedicated solely to the Star Trek franchise. But there is so much passion within the TREK.FM community - both in the fans and show runners - Matthew Rushing of TREK.FM felt that it was necessary to offer a venue where listeners could round out their listening repertoire with a channel dedicated to fandoms OTHER than Star Trek. Why? Because in one way or another, Star Trek has either introduced you to other fandoms that you love, by nature of podcasts mentioning them - OR - vice versa; Doctor Who by extension has now made you a Star Trek fan of one series or another. Bottom line - we all by and large - LOVE science fiction to fantasy, from comics to video games, from top to bottom and everything in-between. And what better way to wind down from talking Trek - to extending the conversation with a drink and a smile from RUBY at The 602 Club. I love the open format, the casual nature and pace of the program and the enthusiasm and passion of the fans and guest stars that bring such great interpretations and dimensions to fantoms that I am familiar with - or MORE importantly - I will NOW be interested in because of what I have enjoyed listening to in The 602. Great job Matthew - keep up the good work and save a stool at the bar for me - NORM.
