fascinating interviews and intelligent, witty discussion

this show is really fantastic. i find myself listening to past shows repeatedly for their humorously engaging discussions, for introducing me to new fiction and writers, and for giving fascinating insight into writing and the publishing world. as authors, anthologists, and lifelong SF/F readers, Dave and John have seemingly encyclopedic knowledge of science fiction and fantasy. densely detailed observations and plot details seem to just flow out of them in a natural and entertaining way. keep up the great work guys, and thank you! here's to GGG#999!

Interesting review from two bonafied scifi and fantasy geeks

I've been out of listening to podcasts for a year or two. Recently I have starrted again and am glad to hear podcasts like this. They intreview a writing stalwart (George RR Martin) then talk about why they like the authors. It is refreshing to here fans talking about the work of someone in a way that isn't cynical or self defacing. This podcast is worth the read.

Fantastic podcast

I played both the Monkey Island games through to the end but I has no idea who Ron Gilbert was until I listened to this great podcast! Every episode is like that, you're entertained and you find out something you didn't know before. If you enjoy the nerdier side of things give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
