Baby steps

Someone who doesn't know much about photography bubbles overenthusiastically and tells her guests how wonderful and brilliant their responses are, and comes across as a bit of a sycophant. Anyone who listens is suddenly a "subscriber" and everyone who emails the host gives "amazing" questions. {Sigh.} I'd appreciate less sucking up and a host who displays more knowledge and who doesn't constantly gush and flatter.

I'm sure Audri is a great person....

But she's a bit tough to listen to. She's totally over the top...telling her interview subject's their suggestions are "brilliant" and that she's never thought of/heard of "that" idea before. This is in response to ideas that are available in any beginning photography book at the local library. The gushing gets a bit tiring to listen to. Having said that, some of the interviews are filled with good information. I go some great tips from the recent one on night shooting and photographing fireworks.

Information is Great! Rest is just ok

I really like the information - the guests and content are great! As other reviewers have said, Audio quality can be poor, and the host is a bit over the top. The format also feels so fake and it is obvious the host is reading everything...I guess I have been spoiled by the format of other podcasts such as TWIP and others that are very easy to listen to and without pretense. I wish the host would loosen up and make this more conversational - not so structured - at least attempt to sound like you aren't reading everything...I have wondered if the guests themselves grow tired of the format too... That being said - the content, that is, the tips and info from the guests is very good - If you can't stand to listen, you can read the show notes. That is what I now prefer.
