Excellent Podcast

You get a mix of WGA nuts and bolts and great one on one interviews. Only twice monthly, hope the frequency increases.

John August Interview

I loved the interview with Peter Landesman. It reminded me of the guy(Brian Lamb?) on CSPAN. Great job John.

#19 Showrunner Brent Forrester

Lots of great awesome information, especially the stuff about having pilots and specs you've wrote from existing shows in your portfolio, having a sketch pad, single-cam vs multi-cam, behavioral comedy like lying, writing comedy from character rather than punchlines it's all useful information. The Leslie Mackie interview about credits and arbitration was also informative. I especially liked her example of Moby Dick when a writer bases a part of their story from someone else and revisions vs created by in a screenplay. I'm going to go back to #1 and start from the beginning.
