Mr.

I thought it was right on. I've been involved in the mental health community for years I even worked as a peer support on A Warm Line. And the part were Gabe became defensive about sleeping and taking meds asking what kind of retarded question is that? That's exactly the kind of defensiveness I experience. Which makes it harder to deal with. I love the recovery community being in AA for years but human services is way to nice. And me being the defensive person I am thinking your way to nice what's your reasoning. And its also sickening sweet. They are just way to nice in the mental health community. So when I heard that I thought yeah they know what they are talking about. I like the argument laughing right now thinking how retarded it is. But yeah That's the way I am in treatment. I get all defensive about it. So right on.

Excellent podcast by excellent people!

I found this podcast by searching for the keyword “bipolar”, and I was immediately hooked. These two know what it’s like to be mentally ill, they tell it like it is, and they give amazing advice (also Michelle sounds like Mila Kunis and is nice to listen to). I know this is not supposed to replace therapy, but ever since I had to stop going I’ve had to try and find a new podcast to keep me sane, and this might just be it! Keep up the good work you guys!! And record more, I’m running out of content already! 😂

Informative, engaging, funny, & relevant!

Props to you both on creating a show where people can relate as well as agree/disagree and still feel like we are fighting the same battle against our illness and the circumstances that surround everyday living. Keep feeding the hope! Love the show!
