'A Scottish Podcast' is a serialised modern audio drama. When washed up radio DJ Lee finds himself "between jobs" he decides to launch a paranormal investigative podcast series, inspired by the likes of 'The Black Tapes', 'The Message', and 'Limetown'. Enter 'The Terror Files'. Aided by his long suffering sidekick, struggling musician Dougie, the pair embark on their first investigation - by heading down into a newly uncovered vault underneath Edinburgh's old town. Lee is prepared to sprinkle a bit of fiction into his reporting to keep things lively. But it soon becomes clear that these long forgotten tunnels harbour a secret far darker than he ever could've hoped to conjure up with his own imagination. This is a dramatised work of fiction with colourful language. Not for the easily offended.

Customer Reviews

Refreshing and Addictive

Mathew and Robert, once again you mates show us the amazing fun time that creative, dramatic podcasting can be for the listener as well as the producers. You gents are an inspiration to those of us just beginning our own journey into audio drama. And, it was delightful to find genuinely funny moments, genuinely thrilling and creepy moments, all tied together with a brilliant plot and solid writing. A Scottish Podcast is simply entertaining and addictive!

A Scottish Podcast/ The Audio Drama Series Review

Robert Cudmore and Matthew McLean are Yap Audio. They are the talents who brought you the Audio Drama Production Podcast, Kraken Mare, and Aftermath. Their latest project has now given the world another gift from the land of The Proclaimers, David Tennant, and Highlander.

Yes, I'm speaking of Scotland!

Lee and Doug are two guys down on their luck.

Lee (Robert Cudmore) is an ex-Disk Jockey of flexible ethics who is trying to make his big comeback by starting a paranormal investigation podcast called The Terror Files.

Lee's friend Doug (Matthew McLean), a former rockstar turned landscaper is hired to help do the production side of Lee's show.

During the recording of the premiere episode they stumble into something much bigger than they expected.

A Scottish Podcast is a hysterical NSFW show that you should not let your mum listen to. But it lovingly satirizes the media, the medium, and the Scotsman in all of us.

Treat yourself, and give this show a chance.

Love it!

It's really great so far and i'm eager to hear more!
