Join me for conversation with and about the impacts of growing up with an absent or distant father. I will share my personal journey, how I and others have learned to traverse the impacts of growing up fatherless. We will also discuss the role of the modern father and how it influences self-confidence, success, money and relationships.

||CleanAuthority Figures||Authority Figures can be bosses, leaders, people with rank, people you perceive as better than you, rich people, etc. How we relate and interact with "authority figures" is often directly related to our relationship (or lack there of) with our fathers. In this episode, we delve into our relationships to authority figures, why they can be so triggering, the different ways we interact with them and how to create more empowering interactions and relationships with perceived authority figures. Puts Meaning Behind the Feeling
Rodney intelligently builds structure around unspoken yet powerfully felt feelings one experiences naturally as a result from lacking male leadership.
So glad I found this podcast.
After listening to just one of these podcasts, I was moved and inspired. The idea of superpowers emerging from the challenge or pain of an absent father continues to stay with me. This podcast is thoughtful, insightful, concise and I’m excited to listen to them all!
Thank you Rodney
My parents divorced when I was 7 and my memory of my dad is that he was the bad guy, angry and we needed to get away to be happy. At 38, I have spend very little, if any time thinking about how that has impacted who I have been being all of my life. Rodney- thank you so much for creating this podcast and allowing us, your listeners, to be in open-hearted, peaceful conversation with you as we discover and consider things together that help us understand ourselves and love ourselves more and more with each episode. I am grateful. We are grateful.
