I learned and loved

Hi! I grew up Mormon my whole life- and I loved the experiences I had and people I was around growing up. When I was 17 I had a sister diagnosed with a definite death disorder, and upon my introspection decided I did not believe in a God, so I left. As someone currently enrolled in FIT to become a BCBA I never considered there would be someone as loving of psychology and learning like me with a similar religious background! Anytime anyone hears I used to be Mormon they act like I used to have 3 heads it’s so shocking! I’ve never related like this so thank you!!!

Functionally fantastic!

As a young therapist this podcast has gone a long way in persuading me of the merits of ACT. After listening through the all 11 episodes and some extra reading I’ve begun to delve into ACT more fully. I have been so intrigued that I’m moving towards adopting ACT as my primary theoretical orientation. The only thing that discourages me is that this podcast hasn’t added any new episodes since 2012. Please reboot it!

BEST Podcast to Understand ACT

Jen and John are a terrific team and demonstrate the consummate balance between knowing so much about ACT to ask really advanced questions, and still being in touch with early learners to ask foundational questions or to have interviewees clarify important concepts. No matter how much you’ve learned, this podcast is amazing for understanding ACT. For experts, it’s great to hear how others describe the concepts and the exercises used. I’m far from an expert, but past a novice.

Bring it back team!!
