Aspiring public defender learning from your podcast

I listen to your podcast on my way to work. I work for a public defenders office. I am a recent law school graduate waiting for bar results. Prior to law school I worked for three years at a public defenders office and dedicated all of my law school years to doing the same. Your pod cast rings so many truths. I love listening to you both on my bart commute and during my walk to the court house and/or office.

Thank you for the topics you choose and for inspiring those of us that are coming after you. I am eager to learn and I am learning how to one day become a great public defender because of the both of you.

Much Needed Podcast

I love this podcast! The program provides good coverage and commentary on current topics relating to criminal justice and public defense work. As an aspiring PD in California, it is so incredible to hear the stories and insight the main hosts have on important issues and client-centered representation. I also find they use their platform so well by including a diverse array of guests including women/female PD's, POC, non-lawyers working for social change, very experienced PD's, etc. Highly recommend!

Keep fighting the good fight!

Love your podcast. It is relevant, informative and full of heart.
