Wonderful Podcast

This is a wonderful new podcast for all of the things us geeks love. A large focus on board games, plus tv shows, movies, books, and more. Only four episodes in so far and there is no doubt I will be a permanent subscriber.

Needs to stay focused

Though I don't know you well, I have met and gamed with both Jeff and Jordan. You're great guys and all three of you bring great content and viewpoints to the podcast. Having said that, you ramble. A lot. 270+ minutes is a long time to basically listen to 3 guys shoot the breeze about what's happened in the last week or two. With a growing geek community around you in Rochester, great potential guests such as Cyrus from Father Geek, and your varying geek backgrounds, you have a lot of potential to be a nice voice beyond your neck of the woods. But, I would love to see you focus the podcast. Whether that means pruning some sections, more ruthless editing, or just reining in the off-topic conversation, this podcast could evolve from trying to be everything to everyone to really digging into the topics you really care about. Episode 1.5 was a perfect example of this. I'm not a Walking Dead fan, but I could appreciate your love of the show (and comics) and knew that your discussion would be perfect for any fan or potential fan.

A podcast under 2 hours really fits the bill in most cases, not only for your listeners who may only care about certain aspects of geekdom, but also for you before you burn yourselves out. I'm but one listener and no one else may agree with me, but I think you have a great opportunity to go far. In any case, I look forward to seeing how you get to your destination!
