Caregiver/Storyteller is a storytelling podcast about Alzheimer's and dementia caregiving. Every caregiver has a story to tell. Chris Doucette interviews caregivers to learn how they became caregivers, the ups and downs of their journey, and how they've changed as a result. Other podcasts teach. Through confessional storytelling, Caregiver/Storyteller helps listeners understand the first-person reality of what caregiving is actually like. While all caregiving stories convey a sense of loss, there is also a surprising amount of fortitude, loyalty, gratitude, joy, and humor. These are their stories. Music by Ravi Krishnaswami at COPILOT Music and Sound.

Helpful and Heartwarming
These stories are wonderful! They show how many people are affected by this disease and have good information for caregivers. Bravo!
Absolutely remarkable podcast. The stories have been fascinating, and I can relate, as I have been looking after my husband diagnosed with Alzheimer’s two years ago. Chris Doucet is an amazing interviewer. He asks incisive questions, and is a good listener. The interviews flow smoothly and he keeps the pace and brings out the best in all the people he talks to.
This has been a more gentle way for me to start to understand Alzheimer’s
The stories have been a very gentle way for me to understand the range of experiences I can look forward to in taking care of my step father diagnosed with Alzheimer’s 3 years ago. Thank you.
