Easy listening with an Academic Touch

What makes this podcast great is the depth of analysis, while maintaining its accessibility for historians (and non-historians) who don't typically follow military history. Marc also uses his knowledge of America's National Park system to help connect people to the physical places that he speaks about in many of the episodes.

Great primer on this important subject

I love Marc's tone and command of the subject matter. The podcasts are short enough to be consumed quickly and Marc does not overwhelm the audience with esoteric detail, but talks about *why* the history he's discussion matters. Great stuff. This is a podcast I look forward to listening to each time a new episode arrives.

Worth your time and attention

Great overview of some key subjects in American Military history. I especially enjoy the recommendations for further reading and research at the end of the episode.
