Description

Every scandal begins with a lie. But the truth will come out. And then comes the fallout and the outrage. Scandals have shaped America since its founding. From business and politics to sports and society, we look on aghast as corruption, deceit and ambition bring down heroes and celebrities, politicians and moguls. And when the dust finally settles, we’re left to wonder: how did this happen? Where did they trip up, and who is to blame? From the creators of American History Tellers, Business Wars and Tides of History comes American Scandal, where we take you deep into the heart of America’s dark side to look at what drives someone to break the rules and what happens when they’re caught. Hosted by Lindsay Graham.

Customer Reviews

Terrible format.

Interesting stories but completely ruined by cheesy and overly dramatic re-enactments. They detract from the story such that it’s hard to listen.

Scandals but NOT Swindled

If you want an amazing podcast that covers scandalous behaviour, greed, betrayal and all the nasty stuff, DO NOT hit subscribe just yet. Go back to your app and search for Swindled. It’s all that Wondery wanted this podcast to be without the cheesy and awkward re-enactments.

Another great Podcast from Wondery

Another amazing Podcast! I have to say that hearing Lindsay Graham’s voice on another Podcast brings me great joy. If you like American History Tellers you will enjoy this one as well as it is laid out in a similar manner in terms of style. Please keep rolling out episodes!!!! The episodes are entertaining and easy to listen to.
