Bugs for Fly Fishermen
This is a great listen for anyone interested in the aquatic life that sustains trout and other fish. A great deal of information is presented, but never in a way that feels overwhelming. Even as someone who has studied aquatic insects as they relate to trout for the last three decades, I have still been able to pick up many insights. For beginners, this podcast will serve as a great launching point for deeper study of aquatic invertebrates if they so desire.
Wealth of information. Enjoyable, relaxing, expert.
Scientific, very detailed, but not boring
I am into taxonomy and systematic of insects and freshwater fish so the content is fascinating to me even though I'm not an angler (basic explanation about fly fishing will help). A lot of specific details about certain groups of insect but not overwhelming. Sound quality can be better, spelling of the scientific names would be helpful. Really like how in depth it goes for each insect groups.
