Not-so-great-relationship advice from completely unqualified Hollywood types. I am not a relationship expert. In fact, when it comes to giving relationship advice, I have zero qualifications. What I do have is a few (okay, 40-ish) years of life experience and a genuine interest in hearing your relationship stories. And with the help of my incredibly insightful celebrity guests, I’m on a mission to help you solve your relationship woes and improve your love life. With a few dating games, a little role-playing, and some not-so-great relationship advice, we’re creating a community where those of us who have no idea what the f*ck we’re doing can find comfort, support, and lots of laughter. Dear listeners, I love all of you so very much and want to hear from each of you; please e-mail me at with your pressing relationship questions. For more details visit my contact page:

rebrand yourself

this should be called Anna faris forcing other comedians to do scene studies. i loved this podcast when it was Anna interviewing her friends, conversational, and then having the advice portion. i'm not interested in 40 minutes of shaky improv. it's cool if that's what Anna wants to do but the podcast format and brand they started w/doesn't feel set up for that, plus it's not how this was originally sold to listeners. i don't think Anna having a good friend be the producer is a great idea bc sim has practically no control or incentive to tell her to move along, drop a bit, etc. the improv also used to be funny but now the bits they do are stale, make it seem like Anna can only do 2 characters (karen sarducci and vapid, self involved hoe), and the other improv is so completely unmanaged, in a really bad, uncomfortable way. when it is funny it's bc the guest takes control of the humor (i.e. Mike Birbiglia) but this highlights how unintentionally cringe and forced the rest of the 'comedy' is. sad to leave a critical review bc this podcast has been great but it is going off the rails. i know Anna can do better.

Just what I needed!

Podcasts are great, but it's hard to find one with comedic value hosted by females. This had me laughing out loud. Faris is charming and informal. Love it- can't wait for more!

Really gone downhill

I really enjoyed this podcast at first, but lately every episode is Anna doing these weird improv things and being vulgar for no reason. I listen to a lot of podcasts and am not offended easily, but it just seems like Anna is trying to shock people by saying gross things. The early episodes she seemed genuine and goofy, but now it feels like this weird character who just wants to lament about their insecurities and talk about weird body and sex things. There's plenty of podcasts that actually are focused on sex and have a better format. Hopefully this show will figure out what kind of podcast they want to be and will stick with it, but had to unsubscribe after this latest episode. 👎🏻
